Before and after working on a small acrylic painting, I paddled with my daughter around the first bays of Rain Lake we stopped and painted in a cove of waterlilies, and later in a grassy creek. The paddle back was the best, with the wind in our backs we just drifted and painted quickly before we passed the trees!
