wild fungi

One of my absolute favourite things to discover in Ontario are the tiny colourful wild mushrooms on the forest floor. I had some fun painting a few this past summer, took a lot of photos to bring home and paint from. This is a little collection I am eager to continue with… once harvest season has passed, will be doing more of these little guys.

So excited to put these in their frames this week… hand made from reclaimed black walnut wood, they are little, but have a nice weight to them!
