what is upcycled vintage art?
These original art pieces are inspired by unwanted, damaged artwork and discarded prints found at local thrift stores.
Breathing new life into dreary paintings and vintage prints, I add a bit of whimsy by painting on top, brightening colours or adding fun elements, while leaving some of the original artist’s masterful artwork to appreciate.
My aim is to encourage an appreciation of older styles of artwork by respectfully refreshing the colours and adding playful elements.
