This is a second little acrylic on canvas I painted en plein air at Andrews Farm & Winery. I brought a picnic blanket to sit on and paint from, so parked myself beside a beautiful bunch of big pumpkins. I painted it on a canvas I had primed with yellow-orange, as you can see from the photos. You can see the flecks of yellow poking through. This is the only visit to the farm I didn’t bring pumpkins home… have so many, they are gorgeous… you can pick-your-own at the farm.
