This summer was the launch of my new watercolour series, The Park, inspired by the rugged landscapes of Algonquin Park. Some painted from the canoe, others back at home… from the biggest tree to the smallest clump of moss, I just love painting it! Now that access to the park is limited in the winter, I am enjoying studying the landscapes and am painting scenes at a larger scale.  

This painting, “Portage on McCraney” is just about dry and ready to go to its forever home. I’m planning to do more of these, esp with the lily pads.
